Basic in Basketball

BASKETBALL

The fundamentals of basketball are the MOST important thing to master because they will make you and your team better no matter what age level or team you play for.

nba.jpg

There’s a good reason that the best college and NBA basketball coaches in the world spend the majority of their practices on fundamentals.

*You’ll see different opponents that use different tactics (pressing, fast breaks, switching defenses, banging in the post, etc)

*You’ll face opponents that have heavily scouted you and know your offense inside and out. And you’ll also face other opponents that have never seen you before.

*You’ll see a different levels of competition from youth recreation leagues and possibly all the way to professional basketball.

*You’ll play for different coaches that have very different coaching styles. Your middle school coach might like to press — and your high school coach might have a completely different style and like to slow things down. You could literally see a dozen different offenses through your basketball career!

It’s much easier to win when you have good players. Great game-coaching cannot make up for poor talent and unskilled players. Players must be taught the correct fundamentals starting early in their development.

Players must learn footwork, how to handle the ball, dribble, basic dribble moves, pass and catch, shoot correctly, play defense, rebound, cut, screen, etc.

And don’t forget the mental aspects, conditioning, training and nutrition that are just as important.

Five Basic Skills of Basketball

fasdfasw

Dribbling

Top point guards dribble and control the ball as if it were on a string. Good technique is critical for a ball handler. You should dribble with your fingertips rather than your palm. Dribble with your head up so you can see the opposition and your teammates. Keep your body low and use your off-ball hand to help keep your defender at bay. Work on dribbling with both hands, so you’ll be as comfortable going to your left or your right.

Passing

Great passers can see the whole court and anticipate where a teammate will go and what a defender will do. Mastering the basics is the place to start. Develop a two-hand chest pass, bounce pass and overhead pass so you can deliver the ball to your teammates in the best position for them to shoot or beat their defender. Steve Nash or Derrick Rose can dazzle you with a behind-the-back or a no-look pass. But those moves are not just for show; they provide a teammate the best chance to score.

Shooting

It’s difficult to score if you can’t shoot the ball effectively. As Better Basketball Coaching explains, shooting is something of an art form, and some players, such as Kevin Durant and Ray Allen, have a knack for it. But everyone can improve their shooting through proper technique and lots of practice. Proper technique includes squaring your body up to the target, shooting the ball with your fingertips, keeping your elbows from flying, putting backspin and arc on the shot and following through completely after letting the ball fly.

efqwea

Rebounding

Although it helps to be tall and have jumping ability, rebounding is a matter of desire as well as ability. Charles Barkley was relatively small for a forward, but he was an outstanding rebounder. He had the ability to determine where an errant shot was likely to fall, the willingness to crash the boards relentlessly and the strength to block out taller opponents. Blocking out your opponent — also called boxing out — is on

e of the keys to good rebounding. To do it effectively, maintain your concentration and focus.

gdsf.jpg

Defense

Even the best scorers go into shooting slumps. But you can always play good defense if you hustle and understand both individual and team defense. When you are defending a player, keep you head lower than his. Stay close enough to the offensive player to bother him — but not so close he can blow by you with one step. Know your opponent’s tendencies so you can dictate the direction you want him to move. Be aware of the other players on the court, so you can play help defense when a teammate loses his man.

As a Basketball player, Dribbling, Passing, Shooting, Rebounding and defense is important because this basic step will lead you to better and great prayer.

Always practice or attend in a training because it will enhance your skills.

Population is problem in China because of over population they create a law which control the birth, the one child policy, in some country like Singapore there races is lessen they want to increase there population. In our country population is problem because for me if the population will continue to increase our resources will gone.

I think we should create a law or policies like the policy of china. the one child or three child policy to control the population.

Effects of Air Pollution to the Ozone Layer

If Burning Garbage is the answer to lessen the garbage?

Garbage is big problem in every society.Burning this is the solution to reduce this but if burning garbage is safe in our health? In our Nature? the answer is no because burning Garbage has effect in our Ozone layer.

According to Garcia. E, How does burning garbage affect the environment. Burning the garbage really affects the ozone layer dioxide and furans are emitted through the air. … The nitrogen oxides effects the environmental issue that deals with the potential for global climate change due to increased levels of atmospheric greenhouse gasses. (2013)

Word

Burning Garbage is bad idea although we do this type of practice to reduce the garbage it is not good for all of us. Melting the ice in Greenland, increasing of people experience heat stroke and more that is the effect of heat in us. Burning is easy it will lessen your garbage, but burning this is not a good idea.

If Car Pollution is the key to easy to go anywhere?

The car is our transportation to go what we want to go but every pollution or the smoke in every car is not safe.

According to Brinson. L, How much air pollution comes from car.

  1. A car emits carbon monoxide when the carbon in fuel doesn’t burn completely.
  2. A car’s exhaust emits hydrocarbons, a toxic compound of hydrogen and carbon.
  3. When fuel burns, nitrogen and oxygen react with each other and form nitrogen oxides (NOx).
  4. Particulate matter — small particles of foreign substances — in the air contribute to atmospheric haze and can damage people’s lungs.

1

Car, Bus, Tricycle, Jeep or any transportation use or produce air pollution is bad yes we use this but this is not safe for us.

Factor will help us but if this good for the future and to the next generation?

a.jpg

Factory is good to every economy because it will help to create more jobs and etc.but factory affect the earth, how the next Generation will eat? they will eat the stainless? the barrels? or anything made of metal? how they will farm every land if the farm is nothing? how they will drink water? if the water become oil. how they will breathe if the air is full of toxic that is danger in our health.

Let us protect our earth Change yourself before you want to change the earth. Love, Peace, Unity and empowerment will save the earth.

This is happening in earth right now!

25

3

Burning Garbage, Car Pollution and and Smoke of every factory is the other reason why we have and experiencing climate change. LOVE OUR MOTHER NATURE

We don’t want to happen this in our earth!
